New Skipper of James Cook - Robin Baker

Robin Baker is joining Ocean Youth Trust North after a career in the Army where he had the opportunity to lead numerous sailing events, races and expeditions. 

Robin is a qualified Yachtmaster Ocean with adventurous Sail Training experience as a skipper, ranging from taking part in the Tall Ships Races to making two transatlantic crossings.

He is local to the North East and is passionate about the benefits of Sail Training for young people.

We welcome Robin to the Ocean Youth Trust North family and are very much looking forward to him becoming a key part of our team when he comes on-board in May 2018.
