Silver Duke of Edinburgh Expedition - Catcote Academy

Catcote Academy's mission is to provide an environment where students are offered every opportunity to maximise their potential, grow in confidence and above all be happy.

This year 6 students, who all had their own disabilities and anxieties undertook the Silver Duke of Edinburgh Expedition on James Cook.  They were unsure about meeting new people, eating in front of others and the challenges that lay ahead.  They worked hard listening to instructions and helping each other along the journey.
